Weekend Update

Just a short note to share my intentions. I am alright, coping okay, had one breakdown with food yesterday but am back on track today. It's only two days from the first of a new month so I'm going to weigh then. I am not feeling it at the moment and have very little time or energy to devote to blog, or for that matter, diet, so I am falling back on the good habits I *do* have and eating the same things over and over so I don't have to think about food. I have some plain cooked 93% lean hamburgers in the fridge, a rotisserie chicken, some nonfat Greek yogurt, and a bag of kale to throw into smoothies. I grab protein shakes when I have no time for anything else. Exercise is out the window but I am doing plenty of moving and walking in my daily activity, so that'll have to do for now. That's all I've got... back on the first.

Even your typing sounds overwhelmed and stressed. I'm praying for your peace and calm in the midst of everything you're managing, and I think your plan sounds excellent given the circumstances. Hugs!

Good luck. I'm caught an a whirlwind myself and am trying to use my new, good habits, too.
