9198 steps today. I am getting into the 9000's now on all my busy days. Frankly I cannot imagine being much busier than I was today, but I guess I could get more steps in if I was not sitting in a meeting for an hour, driving around a lot, or at the vet for 45 minutes. I am not "trying" anymore with the pedometer steps; they are just happening because of the stuff I am doing daily. Walking my daughter to school every morning definitely helps, but the doctor told me to back off the walking and go for biking instead for my feet's sake. So I am not taking any extra walks, just taking a lot of steps going places and doing things.

I am still looking for a new bike. Any recommendations? I am considering a Schwinn 250. The bike has to be recumbent. Also still watching the ads, Freecycle, Craigslist, etc for something suitable, but would like to have a bike within a week or two. I did not have time to lift weights today, as I only sat for 5 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening at home. Too tired now, almost 11 pm and going to bed shortly.

I am staying on plan with my eating and am very happy about the foot pain being 100% gone in the left foot and 80% gone in the right.

That sounds great. You are doing all the right stuff. Don't worry about the scales, they can be so fickle.

I like Nautilis bikes myself.

I love checking in to see your progress. I know you will hit your goal even if it takes all year because you don't quit. Inspiring!

Yeah diminishing foot pain!!! ;D

Do you wear the pedometer when you bike? That would help add up the steps.

no, I haven't, since I log the bike miles/minutes separately. I take it out of my pocket when I bike. I wonder if it would count the pedaling as steps though. I may have to try it just out of curiosity when I get my new bike!

Wow well done on the steps, especially since that is "just" lifestyle!!! Go Lyn!!

Sounds like you're really busy these days. Getting in a new (fall) groove?

Do you do any fall decorating? I did some today.

Thanks Chrissy! Yes, feels like a fresh start! I have not done any fall decorating yet but we usually do in October :)
