9198 steps today. I am getting into the 9000's now on all my busy days. Frankly I cannot imagine being much busier than I was today, but I guess I could get more steps in if I was not sitting in a meeting for an hour, driving around a lot, or at the vet for 45 minutes. I am not "trying" anymore with the pedometer steps; they are just happening because of the stuff I am doing daily. Walking my daughter to school every morning definitely helps, but the doctor told me to back off the walking and go for biking instead for my feet's sake. So I am not taking any extra walks, just taking a lot of steps going places and doing things.
I am still looking for a new bike. Any recommendations? I am considering a Schwinn 250. The bike has to be recumbent. Also still watching the ads, Freecycle, Craigslist, etc for something suitable, but would like to have a bike within a week or two. I did not have time to lift weights today, as I only sat for 5 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening at home. Too tired now, almost 11 pm and going to bed shortly.
I am staying on plan with my eating and am very happy about the foot pain being 100% gone in the left foot and 80% gone in the right.
