Weigh In and See Ya Later

Today is turning out to be a normal day. That's good! Nothing drastic going on... just packing to leave on our trip. I've been doing laundry and limping around getting things in order. The new MSM cream I am using helps a lot and provides some relief (and I will write more about that later), but when I am on my feet too long it still gets pretty bad. I am beyond frustrated about that.

I had a couple of eggs scrambled with light cheese for breakfast and a couple of Medifast meals since then. Maybe a salad with chicken for dinner... not sure yet. I can't concentrate and am not finishing my meal logging in the evenings. Too much else on my mind. I know if I don't put weight loss first, it is going to be very slow going. Hopefully we will get some answers and help on this medical trip for my son and I can focus better when I get back.

I went ahead and weighed this morning since I hope to be gone early tomorrow and not sure if I will have time to mess with weights and blogging. The new scale says 221. The old scale says 218 again. I should have lost weight this week by what I have been eating. I assume I did not because I have PMS today and am retaining water. Better luck next week.

Long drive in the snow ahead. Hoping for a successful journey.

I hope all goes well on your trip. I'll look forward to a good report when you get back, both from your son's medical issues and your weight. You are in my prayers.

I'm not surprised by your weigh in; things like that taco salad had to have hurt. As someone else posted that alone could have easily been 1,500 calories or even more depending on its size.

I hope you have a safe and successful trip with your son. Update if you can, otherwise I'll be looking forward to hearing from you when you get back home!

Take care.

I was just thinking about you and your upcoming trip.

Praying that you find knowledgeable people and good news.

And you know, I'm throwing a request for a foot cure in there, too. Maybe someone will ask you about your difficulty walking--and have a key to a solution.

Stranger things have happened.

Wishing you a safe trip and excellent health care for your son.

When you get back, you might give some thought to doing Medifast on program. Weight loss would so help your feet to heal. Weight loss would so help your morale. Weight loss would very much help your health. You had a few good weeks, but lately not so good.

I have hopes that you will decide once and for all to do this thing and do it right for your own sake, please. In my prayers.

All the best for your trip. And hope you get some good reports or at best very helpful.

Remember many of us who read here are holding you and your family up in prayer.

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers!

Yes, anonymous, absolutely. I have been messing around with the program too much. A modified plan yields modified results. I will be doing Medifast 100% when I get home.
