Relief from the Pressure

What a sense of relief I feel today. Not for any great breakthrough or change of circumstance, but just for the low key, no pressure day we are having. And I am very proud of one of my boys who came home (he has his own apartment), played with the dogs, babysat his sister while I ran an errand, unloaded the dishwasher, and then took his brother to hang out for a few hours. It is nice to know my kids are growing up to be good, caring people. My daughter is busy playing on my Kindle after a playdate here with her friend this morning, so now the house is quiet and peaceful. I am thoroughly enjoying it.

My meals today have been good. It looked like this:

7am: black coffee
8am: Medifast pancake with 1 Tbsp peanut butter and sugar free blueberry jam
10am: Medifast banana pudding shake
noon: 3 oz lean ham, 1 slice reduced fat cheese, celery sticks
3pm: Medifast oatmeal cookie, coffee w/ 1 Tbsp half and half
planned dinner: Medifast macaroni and cheese with steamed broccoli mixed in
planned 8pm: Medifast baked custard (made from Medifast eggs and vanilla shake, baked in the toaster oven), hot plain herbal tea

totals:
1026 calories
98 g protein
88 g carbs
39 g fat

Feeling good!

Good! Glad you can see your kids and have them help, too. Very nice to have a break. It's good weather in So. Cal.

Gotta have a break now and again. Keep OP

You deserve some relief! You're one tough lady. I hope things get easier soon.

since the custard uses the shake and eggs, do you break that down for 2 separate meal?

yes. The general rule is, the number of servings in a combined recipe is the number of Medifast meals that went into it. So, this recipe was to mix a shake packet, an egg packet, water, and Splenda. I divided it into 2 ramekins and baked until set. Each one is a Medifast meal.

How much water

plenty! I don't even log my water or think about it anymore, as it is such an ingrained habit. I have a big 16+ oz cup I keep on the counter, and I fill it and drink it first thing in the morning and with every meal and snack, plus 1-2 more in between. That plus my teas gets me plenty of hydration :)
