Earlier today, I was wishing the scale would whiz downward like it used to. I remember it that way, anyway. I was thinking "two pounds a week is sooo slow." But you know what, really, the scale never *did* 'whiz downward.' It only seemed that way. Back in my early blogging days, I went from 278 pounds to 214 pounds, losing 64 pounds mostly by counting calories and exercising. I averaged almost five and a half pounds a month. Then when I lost a similar amount of weight on Medifast (-59 pounds) I averaged almost seven and a half pounds a month. It *seemed* fast but it was quite a reasonable rate of loss both times... averaging between 1 and 2 pounds a week. So I guess I am right on track again if I keep up this pace.
The pain in my feet is at about 25% of usual today. I went to PT this morning and it was very painful.
Dinner tonight will be a leftover piece of spaghetti squash lasagna.
