It's such a beautiful fall day today and I am so enjoying it! The sunshine, the gold and red leaves, the fresh air... just lovely. I went to PT for my feet and then took my dog for a walk at the park this morning. Now I have all the windows open in the house, letting in the fall breeze while I do laundry and chores.
So far today I've had:
Early breakfast: black coffee, EAS AdvantEdge shake
Later breakfast: pumpkin ricotta "cereal" w/almond milk and walnuts
Lunch: the last bit of leftover cabbage soup and the last bit of leftover kale with ham and onions
and now I am sipping an iced Americano with a bit of half and half.
Total so far: 512 calories, 31 g carbs, 25 g fat (43%), and 44 g protein
I need some ideas for dinner. I thawed five Jennie-O lean turkey breast patties that no one would eat as 'burgers', not even me, because they were so dry. I am going to break them up and brown them in olive oil like you would ground beef, and then use them to make something good. Suggestions?
I have a little more time to devote to blogging as the winter comes, so I've started accepting products and books for review again and will resuscitate my review blog shortly. Honestly, to me it is not about getting free stuff. It is about getting the truth out there about different things people are considering buying. There is a real dearth of honest reviews on things; a lot of bloggers will gush about how great something is even when it's not. I pride myself in my honest reviews. If something is gross or lame I say so. I try to give lots of details and tell the pros and cons. I also keep the reviews *over there* on my review blog so if you don't want to see them, you don't have to, but people searching for info on different things can find it there. I think it is fun.
Tomorrow is Gym Day. My membership runs out in less than 3 weeks, so I need to get my home gym totally set up by then. I have to fix a few things on my cable weight machine and then I should be good to go!
