Well here it is September... where did the time go? I got on the scale a few times this week and saw numbers I did not like at all. It messes with my head. So I am not getting on the scale again for at least a week or two while I continue my new exercise routine. I know muscles can retain water when one starts strength training, so I am hoping that's all it is and in two weeks I will see a number *lower* than 217 rather than higher. I refuse to let the scale dictate how I feel about myself. I need to focus on the exercise and the eating and let the results fall where they may. I can readjust in 2 weeks if I am not getting positive results. No scale until then.
I have no plans at all for tomorrow. I just want to stay home and relax. I need it! Life's been crazy and a break will be welcome. In fact, I just got home from errands, so I am starting my break right now! Time for an iced coffee and a little reading time. Catch you later!
