Today, and Your Favorite Blogs

The weekend is going well. I got lots of errands done today and will be going swimming with my daughter tomorrow. My plantar fasciitis is almost gone at times and excruciating at others. My eating is under control, moderate and healthy. Today we went to the Farmer's Market for some grass fed beef, yellow squash, and zucchini. I wanted to get cabbage and green onions, too, but there were none so I stopped by the grocery store for those. I'll be making something called "Crack Slaw" for dinner tomorrow and if it is good, I'll share the recipe! Yesterday I made a huge batch of Cauliflower "Potato" Salad and ate half yesterday and half today. That, along with salad, free range eggs, roasted pork, fresh locally made goat and sheep cheese, nuts, seeds, veggies and protein shakes are making up the majority of my intake.  I've been using unsweetened almond milk in place of regular milk and am staying nearly grain-free. I feel stronger already with the strength training I've been doing, and I plan to get back on the scale next Sunday to see what's going on there. For now, I am just enjoying the ride.

I have one question: what is your favorite blog? It can be a weight loss blog, recipe blog, fitness blog, or anything related to healthy living (physical, mental, or spiritual). I need a few good, fresh reads and want to update my blogroll, too! So please tell me your favorite blog and I will check it out (and I am sure others will as well!)

Jimmy Moore at http://livinlavidalowcarb.com/

Jimmy also does podcasts with interesting and informative people.

He publishes a list of blogs each month which is worth checking out. I don't think I found any that interested me in his September list though.

Hope your feet continue to improve.

Blessings

Haha, I like my own blog quite well, and the others I read I am sure you are familiar with, too, as I've seen your commenting on a few of them. As for recipes, share away! Mmm!

I'm jumping in a couple of days late with a couple more blog contributions. They are random and not really related to food or weight loss but they are fun to look out occasionally.
1. http://oinks.squeetus.com/ (The official blog for author Shannon Hale)
2. http://www.epbot.com/ (The side blog of Jen Yates who does the Cakewrecks site.) I think I just love seeing all the cool pictures from her projects and the conventions she and her husband attend.
3. http://homehinges.com/ (I admit it, these are my cousins and I just think their site is cool with picture taking tips and especially the before and after transformations of old furniture.)

Hi Lynn, This is my first time writing. But I have been meaning to tell you that I have planter's too on and off and the single most thing that has helped me not have pain for years is wearing men's addidas shower shoes around the house. I know this sounds crazy. Mine are a few years old so it may not be this exact one but they look like this.

The only reason I get the men's is because I have a wide foot and the women's don't have the velcro ontop.

They give your foot an awesome cushion. I really hope it can give you some relief!!!! In the mornings if I have slight pain I slip these on right next to my bed and they work like a charm.
