Dinner was excellent tonight! I sauteed some thin steaks in olive oil with sliced local onions. I then made gravy out of the pan drippings and some bone broth (gravy was for the kids, I abstained) which the kids ate over their mashed potatoes. I had mashed steamed cauliflower myself. The rest of my plate was filled with fresh-from-the-garden spinach in Balsamic dressing and an organic local carrot. It was really a great dinner, fully satisfying.
I listed my other meals today in my last post, and I also had an iced latte (no sugar) while I was out.
Stats for today:
1104 calories, 69 g protein, 61 g carbs, 63 g fat
Even though I was allowing myself up to 1600 calories last week and 1500 this week, it seems I naturally fall at about 1100 calories after dinner if I just listen to my hunger. I do usually have a little something in the evening, generally protein-rich, between 100-200 calories. I will do that again tonight (fruit and Greek yogurt) but am too full to even consider eating more right now.
