Fresh Start

Well, here I am back on plan with Medifast. So far so good, and I aim to get these regained pounds off before January first and hopefully have "110 Pounds Gone" pictures posted by February. I am determined. I am also bracing myself for a sugar withdrawal headache today... will post an update of how I am doing later today. I have a *ton* of errands to run but will be taking my Medifast food with me along with a bottle of water. I think my little one may get to visit Santa today :)

If you haven't caught up with how I did last week, here's yesterday's post. Catch you later!

Good for you! I'm right there with you. I wasn't doing any specific diet other than "whole foods, all natural, no sugar, lots of veggies" and that's pretty much how I lost 70 pounds. Then I decided I could relax a little for Thanksgiving and I've gained 8 pounds back as of yesterday, and I've dropped 3 as of this morning. Carby, sugary water weight, blech. But I'm back on the wagon with my whole foods diet this morning and it's only 11:20 but I'm already starting to feel better. We can do this! JackSh*t's comment yesterday hit home with me, how disastrous things happen when you try to bridge the gap between your old and new selves. Hopefully this will be the last time I have to stumble reminding myself that! (Haha I must be dreaming, but at least I'm learning and continuing to pick myself back up, as are you).

Sorry for the super long comment. Just wanted you to know that we're right there with you and cheering you on!

Good for you for knowing your limits and understanding what YOU need to do to reach your goals!

And yay for seeing Santa!!!

That weight will come off fast. When I re-gain weight quickly like that, it falls off when I get back on plan. Hang in there!

I'm glad you're back on it. I think you need to stick with MediFast until you're at goal, then do the proper transition. It works for you. Don't mess with something that works. :)

I think you're going to feel a lot better now, and I agree with other posters, do the proper transition when the time comes. I can't wait to see pics of your new puppy! You know my vote for her name ;)

Maybe take an ibuprofen now to stop the headache? I did that when I first started Medifast :)

Good for you for getting back on track before the train derailed. You'll reach your goal, I know you will.

Your weight loss journey is a good example to all of us that this is a long term battle with ups and downs, successes and slip-ups, and good days and bad. If we are to really change our eating habits and life style it usually can't be accomplished overnight but has to be worked at with patience and persistence. Good luck to you, and thanks for sharing your experiences with those of us who are struggling right along with you.
