Rest in Peace, Garrett. Another Lost Blogger

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Garrett, author of the weight loss blog Stages of Change. He was only 28 years old. Rest in peace, Garrett. And to his family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss.

Take a moment today to remember that life is a gift. Tell your family you love them. Treasure every day.

I didn't know...I read his blog too and wondered what had happened.

How sad. I too, wonder what happened...but also wonder if it's up to any of us to know.

I just read about his passing on Jack Sh*t's blog. Wish I'd found Garret's blog earlier so I could have been reading it.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll give my Kid an extra hug tonight and do extra moving tomorrow.

Oh my goodness. I'm so upset by this. I just went and checked out his blog and read over a few posts real quick and now I'm crying. This is so tragic. He was working hard to change his life and now it's gone... Gah, I don't know why this got me so emotional, but it did. :(

wow. that's really crappy. and really eye opening. I'm 28. I know I'm not as heavy as he was, but I'm still significantly overweight.

I'm still in shock. I only knew him in writing, but it was so beautifully written - as if he knew my heart and my struggles.

I'm sad about it. Very sad. :(

I was away all weekend long on a vacation and am just now getting caught up on all my favorite blogs. But when I saw this, I just couldn't wrap my mind around it.

I guess it's that I didn't know him...but I felt like he knew me.
