Second post today. A couple of readers have commented and/or emailed me that they are either already doing Medifast or are planning to try it. If that's you, maybe this will help. Medifast gave me a coupon code to share with my readers for $50 off any order of $275 or more. To use it, place your order on the Medifast site and enter Lyn50 during checkout. It's a one-time use code and expires on 5/31/10.
FYI: I don't get anything out of anyone ordering or doing Medifast. I am just getting my Medifast food for free, regardless, but wanted to pass this code on to anyone who can use it.

I think Medifast might really help overeaters with Attention Deficit Disorder like me because I wouldn't have to make as many decisions everyday. Organizing what and how I eat is a huge task for me, sometimes feels overwhelming.
I'm not able to purchase this product in Canada. :(
Theresa I could have SWORN i have seen Canadians on the board! Hmm but then medifast says it does not ship to Canda... maybe you have to order through a Canadian Medifast thing?

You can order in Canada! You just have to call (800) 572-4417 to place your order. You can tell them the coupon code and they'll apply the discount.

I just got off the phone - calling the number you listed (800-572-4417), and was advised Medifast is NOT available in Canada, and cannot be shipped to Canada.
Hopefully you have another suggestion...:o))

I looked into this issue and word is that when Medifast found out that Canadian customers were being charged extra, they decided to hold deliveries to Canada until they can resolve the problem. We certainly don't want people paying extra just because you're a little farther north :)

I've ordered medifast a few times...I live in Canada..so was surprised to see they no longer will ship here. Very disappointing
3 years ago I could order Medifast with my canadian credit card and have it ship to a US based address on line. Last year I had to call in for my order because you could not order with a CND CC on line.This morning I tried and was told that they do not accept canadian credit card anymore and that Medifast is not approved for sale by the Canadian government. I now for a fact that the latest might be true for doctors ordering for resale but not for individuals. I work at the border and if it is for personal use and not for resale CFIA does not care. However unless you have a credit card with a US address AND a US shipping address Canadian are not on the Medifast approved customer list any longer....Nice going Medifast!!!
I know the Canada thing is still an issue. Some folks are doing a buy-and-resend thing with friends or health coaches in the US, but what a pain. I don't know much else about it but encourage you to contact RLibby (in the comments above) as she may be able to help you or at least give an estimate on how long until it is worked out.

I was a Medifast customer in the past (in Canada) and would like to be again, but was also told that it can no longer be shipped to Canada. I was told it was due to Canadian rules re: labelling and the glycemic index.
I've sent Medifast 3 emails asking for confirmation and/or options..and they've never even bothered to respond.
