A glimpse of mama bird (I assume it is mama, although papa is around too) with a little bitty worm in her beak, on her way to feed the brood:

My mini-dog is fascinated by the peeping sounds under the deck:

And here's the babies, 2 days old:

Growing and changing... getting stronger every day :)

Awwwwwww, they're so ugly! lol
but so cute at the same time.
Mini-Dog is adorable.
Mama's breast will be paler than Papa's.
"Growing and changing ... getting sronger every day" ... Hey! that sounds like the people around here!!! :)
Wow. So cool. That'll be neat to watch them grow up!
They are adorable! We have some under the eaves of the roof that I can't see, but I can hear them chirp-chirp-chirping every day. When I sit on the deck, mama bird loudly scolds me for being within yards of her brood :)
Hi Lyn! I just joined your blog a few days ago. I have started my own weight loss blog (goal is to lose 200 pounds). I saw that you have already lost 60 pounds! Congrats. You totally inspire me that it can be done! good luck!

I love birds! How luck you are! I got two green cheek conures and they are my babies!
How beautiful! What beautiful creatures! I'm glad you are enjoying the outdoors. I think this is one of the best things about nature, that we get to see its beautiful creatures. So peaceful. Great pictures Lyn. :)
