Back to the Grind

It's about 10PM right now but I can feel that my cold is starting to abate. I am guessing that tomorrow I will be mostly functional again. Yay! I miss being active and alert. So it's back to the grind... the fat grind, that is! The grind (aka routine) that whittles the fat off my body, gives me energy, and gets me to my goals. I am more than ready.

So lemme just list my goals for tomorrow, here.
1) Make a big pitcher of fresh green tea to drink
2) Process the neglected fruits and veggies (cut up watermelon and pineapple, cook the beets and the green beans if they are still decent, sort and wash the grapes and berries that are left)
3) Ride the bike, even if it is only 15 minutes
4) Throw out any remaining "comfort foods"
5) Get on top of the chores (laundry, dishes, other housework and paperwork that got behind while I was sick)

If I can get these things done, I will be a success! My daughter also starts ballet tomorrow so that should be fun, and I want to spend some time with all the kiddos, too, since I was out of it all weekend.

One of the nice things about *Life* is that there are always chances for fresh starts. And they always feel so good! I am excited to see the pounds peeling off once again so I can post a great loss for September.

Thanks for all the happy thoughts! And if YOU need a fresh start, for whatever reason, please join me. Make this YOUR month, too!

Good to hear you are feeling better and are keen to get back to the fight... and you certainly are a fighter! Just reading your positive posts helps to motivate me too - you just can't know how much. Thanks for that.

Great, I'm happy you're feeling better! I hope you get to every item on that list, and that your daughter enjoys ballet!

So happy to hear you are feeling better! Ballet should be lots of fun, for both you and the kiddo! I don't have any little ones of my own, but I love watching other people's munchkins dance and play sports, especially when they first start out. They just have so much fun and are totally free! They don't care about perfection, they just enjoy every second of whatever it is they are doing! Hmmm... sounds like there's a lesson in there somewhere...

Oh well, good luck on your re-start! =)

Yay!! You're well...and thinking positive and moving forward..me too...I've been sort of in a rut but have gotten my "stinking thinking" straightened out and can move forward again instead of spinning my wheels. Forward ho! (I think that might be a line from Wagon Train-- a late 1950's or early 1960's TV series..hahaha)

I feel tired looking at your schedule and I haven't been sick.

Hope all goes to plan and have fun at the dance lesson.
