Nugget of Hope

Just a little nugget for those of you checkin' in to see my "magic post" (which I wrote on Thursday night, before I left. Yes I am still gone!)

Tonight, 9:35 p.m.:
Husband (lurching up from recliner, heading for the door): I am going on a Dairy Queen run. Do you want anything?
Me (glancing up calmly): No, thank you.

(**applause**)

Those little victories add up. You made a choice to take care of yourself in a new way. The old way of eating for comfort is no longer working. Go girl!

YOU FREAKIN' GO GIRL! ROCK ON LYN! I just wanted to encourage you to go see a counselor. I think it would really help you to have someone to support you in real life.

Also, good for you, getting a journal to write in (not part of blog); I also do this, just write what I'm thinking, etc and I take it everywhere with me.

Don't feel defeated Lyn. YOU ARE A BRAVE WOMAN!

Wow, Lyn, I've been out of the loop because I've been travelling for a week now (I'm still on holidays). So I read all your posts all at once! Really sorry for the rough time you've been having... I don't think I can offer any advice you're not already aware of. But I wanted to tell you that I'm thinking of you. You're proved so strong in the past, I have faith in you. I believe that you'll snap out of this bad break, one day at a time. Congrats on today's victory :-)

I agree with everyone here that this is not just a "nugget of hope" but more a "gold brick of hope"!!!

Health attracts health, and there is no doubt that better days are ahead for you.
