60 Pounds Gone (218)

Well once again I must say, I look at the pictures and I don't see much of a change from ten or twenty pounds ago. But I know I am shrinking. My measurements prove that. And just today I had to set aside SIX more pairs of pants that are just too big to wear. They are size 22. I can still wear some 20's, and 18's. As a matter of fact, I tried on ALL of the size 18 pants I had bought to "shrink into," and they all fit. Guess I need some 16's!

Sixty pounds, gone forever.

I can see that you are more tone in your upper body as compared to the 50 pounds loss pictures! So don't worry, you're doing great!

Lyn, THe difference is amazing. Your fore arms are toned looking, your hips have slimmed down and there is definition between your tummy and boobs...that was the bit I got most excited about when I really started loosing, that from side I actually had a silhouette. You do to. Stand straight, stand tall, wear clothes that show off that wonderful figure that is emerging. Some of us, no matter how much weight we loose will have that wonderful hourglass figure...enjoy it!

Awesome pics. You are definitely shrinking! You are doing so well despite everything that you are going through, and I think that is amazing. Keep it up!

unbelievable! PARTICULARLY the side view - stunning. on days when you feel discouraged, look at that side shot [great jeans, by the way]. bravo - and thanks for giving me a dose of much-needed HOPE this morning. I'm 6 months pregnant with #4, and after baby comes, I'm ready for my new beginning... and eating healthy and moving NOW to prime the pump!

Waw, this is really an amazing achievement. The difference between those photos on the left and then the ones in this post is HUGE. You are looking slim, certainly if you consider the fact that you've had kids. I'm trying to lose weight myself and it looks like I'm finally getting some results, I've tried a million times with as much diets. I'm now going to blog about my experiences, hoping to do the same for other people that you did for me. You can find my blog at http://fightpounds.blogspot.com/

Good luck and congratulations!

You look great - your hips look much different than the 50 pound pics - you've got a SHAPE, sister! Good for you - and keep doing those "fashion shows" - buy the next size and keep tryin' them till they fit OR - I've even bought stuff and when I went to start wearing it, it was already too BIG. Sad, but NOT REALLY! Keep buying yourself new stuff and remember, too, that wearing clothing that is too big only makes you look bigger so get some form fitting stuff and look hot. You deserve it.

HI
I just found your blog; and I only have 40 lbs to loose [premarin is to blame] but you are beautiful.

What is so good is you are past 50% point and have less to lose than you have already lost !!!

And I can see your feet are looking so better. Recently I spoke to a friend in the mid-west who said she really improved her feet with yoga 2-3x per week. She said she had better arches and her feet were nearly flat.

And I wanted to say you are right. To loose weight a person must first be responsible to their personal health, and that is so many activities. Exercise, portion control/calorie counting and not buying junk.

Cheers!

Hello I just wanted to say something about the comment you made about not seeing that you have lost any weight. I just want you to know when I lost a whol bunch of weight I could not see it. It's a psychological thing. I got to be 130 pounds and when I looked in the mirror I still saw same old fat me. I just wanted to let you know sometimes your head gets so used to seeing your body fat that it keeps seeing it that way. So dont get your hopes down because just cuz you cant see a difference(and may never be satisfied with you weight) everyone else sees a huge difference!
